Get to Know Me
As someone who has faced traumatic experiences throughout life, my resiliency and passion to help others remained steadfast. Working as an Art Therapist with a Play Therapy background, I combine my eclectic training; client centred approach with focus on attachment theory, and Jungian Psychology. My academic education includes a BA in Studio Arts and Psychology, Concordia University, and a MA in Art Therapy, Concordia University. I have post graduate training in I-III levels of Play Therapy from the Canadian Play Therapy Association, working towards becoming a certified Play Therapist.
I am currently working on grant funded community projects, peculating a podcast with colleagues, and running a private practice.
I’m passionate about knowledge, imagination, play, and nature as healing. I remain an advocate for de-stigmatizing mental health, death taboo, and disability.
